Description

Students will gain experience in a specialty area of Psychology by working with teams of Faculty members and Graduate students. They will be able to observe and participate in both research and applied clinical work. Prerequisites: Psych 2900. Experimental Education and Learning (ExEL) unit. Frequency: Infrequent.

Learning Outcomes

1) Describe the issues involved in the conduct of research. 2) Identify the roles and responsibilities of the members of a research team. 3) Demonstrate competency and responsibility in carrying out one's own part of the research effort. 4) Demonstrate interpersonal skills and competencies when interacting with subjects, clients, and co-workers. 5) Demonstrate a capacity for professional growth by means of meaningful contributions at class discussion meetings and research supervisor evaluation.
